At a time when our society desperately needs examples of civility and good character, we seek to provide the best environment for learning and practicing virtues of true sportsmanship. As one of a handful of sports in which the difference between winning and losing fairly rests in the hands of the competitors, squash is transformational in teaching lifelong lessons in sportsmanship and fair play, and differentiates squash as a sport, and squash players as individuals. We’re working to:

Ensure not only that the principles of good sportsmanship remain at the heart of the game, but also the qualities of integrity, honesty, accountability, fairness and respect – lifetime values taught through athletics
Strengthen squash’s connection to education to further establish that involvement in the sport creates opportunities, cultivates relationships, builds social networks and lifelong friendships, and helps make people realize their own full potential
Establish and uphold the Rules of the Game including the Codes of Conduct for players, fans, coaches and families alike, and
Recognize leaders in the community who demonstrate the qualities the sport values, and honor the game’s special and valued history, including Scholar-Athlete, All-American, National Sportsmanship Awards, and the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame.
